We are seeking a talented and passionate Front End Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing high-quality, scalable, and responsive web applications using React. This role requires a mix of technical skills and a commitment to delivering efficient internal applications for traffic management operators.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain front-end applications with a focus on user experience
- Translate user stories, designs and wireframes into high-quality code
- Optimize components for maximum performance across several web-capable devices and browsers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including analysts, designers, product managers, and backend developers) to define, design, and ship new features
- Ensure code quality, organization, and automatization
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Fluent in English and either French or Dutch
- At least 2 years of experience in front-end development with React or a similar component-based framework
- Knowledge of the MUI library is a plus
- Knowledge of the React Query library & Redux toolkit is a plus
- Good understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3 with BEAM convention
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Vite and NPM
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Familiarity with code versioning tools, such as Git
