Operations Manager

 

Who We're Looking For

 Are you looking for a role in which you can work on sustaining & improving delivery of our IT operations at one of Computacenter's strategic customer? Ensuring that we achieve contracted levels of service performance (SLA, KPI), at the agreed cost, while continually improving the service.

We have an opportunity for an Operations Manager to join our dynamic Managed Services Team.
This will be mainly an on-site role with one of our large strategic customers based in Zaventem.

 

What You'll Do

You will keep the oversight of all activities delivered for the customer and work together with the service delivery manager & team leaders to ensure things run smooth.

This includes being accountable for: 

  • The day-to-day activities at the customer site and the management of Internal Service Providers to deliver service
  • Follow up on operational activities with a strong focus on SLA’s and avoiding aged and bouncing tickets
  • Reporting of SLA’s and KPI’s
  • Take ownership of escalations and major incidents and ensure corrective actions are taken after closure
  • Development and support implementation of Continuous Service Improvement initiatives
  • Designing and implementing new operational processes, KPIs and reporting
  • Ensuring timely and high-quality delivery by pro-active approach
  • Working as a team player and focusing on the well-being of the entire team.
  • You play an instrumental role in providing expertise on operational solutions. 
  • You provide guidance to your team members to ensure that they are working towards a common goal, and in collaboration with the clients' teams.
  • You play a key role in building long-term relationships with our clients; this includes point of contact for VIP users.


 What You'll Need

This position requires 1-2 years of relevant experience in day-to-day IT environment focused on operations, continuous improvement & transformation. This technical knowledge is combined with solid leadership skills & a customer-oriented approach.

  • Technical workplace knowledge will be an asset
  • You will need to be able to express yourself fluently in English and Dutch; good French skills are an asset
  • You will bring an authentic approach and humble mindset, being respectful and open to all cultures and backgrounds
