You will join the ServiceNow squad as a Support Engineer, operating in an agile environment. Your responsibilities will include supporting and guiding the team through various processes, monitoring instances to ensure smooth operations, and executing maintenance and run tasks such as small changes, Life Cycle Management, and License Management.

Your proficiency in the ITIL framework will be vital, specifically in areas such as incident management, where you'll handle second and third line incidents, including analysis, alignment, small changes, communication, and follow-up. Moreover, your knowledge will extend to problem management, asset management, and change management.

Furthermore, you will be involved in release management, preparing and following up on releases, runbook preparation and validation, and presenting in the Change Advisory Board. Your experience in process optimization, including optimizing workflows, reducing bottlenecks, and automating repetitive tasks, will be essential.

 

You’ll have knowledge and experience of the following: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a relevant equivalent
  • Service Now Certified (Admin Course)
  • Certified Implementation Specialist or other related certification 
  • Cloud knowledge
  • Monitoring and performance optimization: experience with Service Now instance health checks, performance monitoring and system upgrades
  • A broad technical knowledge of: Office 365, Windows server, network management & hardware
  • Cross-functional collaboration: ability to work closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders in a complex environment
  • Stakeholder communication: strong communication skills to translate technical issues into business terms and vice versa
  • Project Management knowledge
  • Fluent in English and Dutch/French
