As a Business & Functional Analyst, you are part of the team Analysis & Solution Design, department Solution Delivery SPS (Sales, Passenger & Security Information).

Responsibilities in business analysis:

  • Capture business (client) requirements and prioritize these (MOSCOW or WSJF)
  • Describe business processes (BPMN or alike) and suggest improvements
  • Communicate in a clear, concise manner (both in analysis and via other channels)

Responsibilities in functional analysis:

  • Translate business requirements into functional requirements, containing acceptance criteria
  • Define functional specifications (front-end + middle-layer)
  • Ensure quality assurance of the final product by conducting tests and validations
  • Provide support during the implementation of the solution
  • Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders to ensure the solution meets the client's requirement
  • Communicate in a clear, concise manner (both in analysis and via other channels)

Your profile

  • Completed degree in computer science or a similar field
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Business/functional Analyst
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience in analyzing business processes and systems
  • Ability question requirements in a healthily critical way and record a supported conclusion
  • Experience in drafting functional specifications and defining requirements
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Experience in using data to make decisions and solve problems
  • Language skills: Dutch and/or French (with a good knowledge of the other language) + English (mandate)
  • Profound knowledge BPMN and/or UML
