As a Business & Functional Analyst, you are part of the team Analysis & Solution Design, department Solution Delivery SPS (Sales, Passenger & Security Information).
Responsibilities in business analysis:
- Capture business (client) requirements and prioritize these (MOSCOW or WSJF)
- Describe business processes (BPMN or alike) and suggest improvements
- Communicate in a clear, concise manner (both in analysis and via other channels)
Responsibilities in functional analysis:
- Translate business requirements into functional requirements, containing acceptance criteria
- Define functional specifications (front-end + middle-layer)
- Ensure quality assurance of the final product by conducting tests and validations
- Provide support during the implementation of the solution
- Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders to ensure the solution meets the client's requirement
- Communicate in a clear, concise manner (both in analysis and via other channels)
Your profile
- Completed degree in computer science or a similar field
- At least 5 years of experience as a Business/functional Analyst
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in analyzing business processes and systems
- Ability question requirements in a healthily critical way and record a supported conclusion
- Experience in drafting functional specifications and defining requirements
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of project management methodologies
- Experience in using data to make decisions and solve problems
- Language skills: Dutch and/or French (with a good knowledge of the other language) + English (mandate)
- Profound knowledge BPMN and/or UML
